SCT Geometry

SCT stands for Sport City Touring. It’s a frame geometry, which combines three types of riding positions in just one frame. We have carefully analysed many types of frames, before choosing the best type. Based on the experience of our staff, who all are active cyclists, we have chosen the best combinations between tubes angles and lengths to select the most ergonomic and optimal riding position. With the SCT, you can cycle very quickly while still enjoying one of the most comfortable riding positions. SCT will also make you forget any back pain because the of use of our super wide 690mm handlebars that allow you to breath more easily. When designing the bike, we were fully aware of what most important features for the cyclist are and, having had years of experience in riding different types of bikes, we came up with the geometry design that will bring you both lots of fun and a comfortable ride.Oxygen bicycles have been created by cyclist for cyclists and this is why we believe in the excellence of our products.

Alpha 7005

Alpha 7005 is the frame technology which delivers the superlight, rigid frames for our Oxygen Electric Bikes. All our frames are made of an alloy mix containing a mix of aluminium 7005 and magnesium. The 7005 alloy delivers a super lightweight frame with the maximum strength, which is crucial to achieve the maximum reliability. Additionally, every frame is hand welded to ensure the highest quality of welds.

Ananda

In partnership with Ananda, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of controllers and power management systems, we have created a new type of controller, that maximises the use of a hub motor and a battery. The number 1 goal of the new controller is to reduce the energy dumping. It is quite common with a hub motor drive to lose significant amounts of battery energy, because it is turned purely into heat. At Oxygen, we managed to overcome this issue by applying an appropriate power delivery system, which distributes only sufficient amounts of energy onto the drive system. As a result, our new Oxygen electric bikes are able to achieve a range higher than average, compared to the ordinary hub motor drives.

8FUN

8FUN by Suzhou Bafang is an excellence in hub motors. These motors have external rotor permanent magnet brushless construction, a planetary gear-reducer system, and one-way overstep clutch, all mounted on the same shaft, and the torque is transferred by the hub inner gear ring on the hub to the hub directly. The main advantage of the 8FUN motors is the brushless design, which does not contain brushes. Unlike some other basic motors, the new brushless design does not require any maintenance. The hub design is small and lightweight - it weights only 2.8kg. Hub motor offers excellent starting performance with no magnet hysteresis damping energy and agood creeping slop capacity.

  • High efficiency with lower power consumption
  • High starting and peak power of up to 572 Watts and steeples speed regulation
  • No spark, no electric interference and explosion prevention
  • Superior water-proof design.

We are proud to use Safty batteries on our electric bikes. Safty Energy has now expanded its production from military and aviation series into electric bike battery packs. They bring their experience and knowledge from their military series where the top performance is needed to the electric bike industry. The battery is the most important component in the electric bike, it’s a power source and the heart of the bike which is responsible for power delivery. Our batteries are advanced technology lithium-ion batteries with compound cathodes. Safty offer outstanding performance even in extreme situations at high discharge rates. Safty batteries have originally been used in aircrafts, helicopters, military, and medical equipment where the power delivery has to be of the highest level and safety and reliability is paramount. Safty have also moved to electric vehicles where they can offer outstanding technology being previously unavailable in public devices. All batteries manufactured by Safty are well known for ability to handle very high discharge rates which are quite uncommon for lithium-ion batteries. We are confident that Safty offer one of the best lithium-ion batteries available on the market.
